Hi... I just networked my xbox to my pc, and it works perfectly... I ftp'd the xbox and I'm currently uploading the files to my PC.. My question... When I was in the Evox dash, it said drive D was 6.5 GB, but my upload is only about 3.5 - 4 GB... Am I missing something, or does the XBoX misread the data size? Not a problem, just a queary... Also... Is there a website that has the current DVD sizes of each game? Thanks...
The D: is your DVD drive did it says that all the files were FTP'ed from the Xbox to PC from the game disc?
Ya... I selected all the files and my ftp program completed the task in about 15 minutes... It came out to only 2.1 GB... I checked the D Drive and it looked as though they all transferred... I played the game alittle last night, but really didn't get to far.. I guess if it stops working at a certain point, then I'll know it wasn't correct... The game is Oddworld: Stranger... I highly doubt it's 6 GB, but who knows... Thanks..
It does sometimes misread the data. which ftp program did you use? Also it is possible that files were skipped, it does happen, although not usually large files. Which game is it?
I use CuteFTP Pro... I have never had a problem with it.. I use it alot for work... The game is Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
