take a look at the serch feature in this site, or google. If you want me to give you the jist of the answer, No you cannot make a straight copy (cant just copy or rip a game without FTP-file transfer protocol?- to your Xbox).

Take a look around the net, there are lots of things to find, and some helpful info.

I usually have a problem burning *.iso's with nero because it wont burn one that is more than 2 gigs. So when using Nero, I select UDF, drag in the files (not iso), and burn at the slowest speec using HP DVD+R discs.

    Hope this helps,
    Scott

    time to start reading
Get a good FTP program like CuteFTP or SmartFTP
which you can fine on the homepage of the site i linked you to
    in th downloads section.
Then read all the tutorials on how to FTP and how to set up you
    network (PC) for connection sharing.
It sounds a lot harder than it really is. Once you get it set up and learn how to use it FTP is pretty simple.
You will need a Cat5 cable (crossover cable) as well, they are pretty cheap at any computer store. You will either hook it directly from Xbox to PC, or from Xbox to your router depending on what you have.

    But the basics are this:
    1. you put the disc in your Xbox
    2. You use the FTP program on the PC to transfer the files to the PC
and put them in a folder you created for the game.
    3. You use a program like Craxtion4 or Qwix to turn the files that are in that folder into an ISO file
    4. then you take the ISO and burn it like any other ISO

if you really get stuck you can use the chat support feature on the main page of that site i gave you, there is usually someone there who may be able to talk you through it.
BUT DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST! that way you will be better informed
and know what they are telling you to do.

you dont have to copy the game to your hardrive.just use the ftp client and look at drive d this is where your game should be.

you can put the disc in the DVD drive and FTP strait
    from there to the PC.
Full instructions on how to FTP are in the tutorial section i
    gave you the link for.
DVD Decrypter would work fine to back up game, but first you have to use something like Qwix or Craxtion4 to take the files that you
FTP'ed to the PC and turn them into an ISO so it could be burned
    to a DVD
