xbox backups noisy?

    hi ppl,

    do your xbox backups make more noise when loading than originals?

    Yeah I noticed mine did with certain types of media. It kinda spooked me so that was the determining factor for me installing a bigger HDD. I thought it may damage or cause my laser to go bad quicker. It may be nothing, but I have heard stories about lasers dying off faster cause the laser has to work harder. Dont know if its tru or not but with the HDD I dont have to worry.
