Xbox DVD Drive on comp.

I was wonderin,can u use ur xbox dvd drive on ur computer?[despite the wierd power input,i think i could get around this....]

 

You can but it's not a very good drive for the job. They are seriously limited in what they will read. Every brand has different requirements, some need the firmware replacing. I think I know what you want to do, and it doesn't work.

 

i think ur thinkin wat im thinkin but if u say it doesnt work i wont waste my time.

 

Yeah..team PI did it once upon a time, if it's a sammy then the firmware is out there but you still can't get a usable iso from it, just a disk dump. FTP is the way.. lol
