Xbox dvd drive will not open...

    I bought an xbox off of ebay and the dvd drive will not open. It boots up fine, and there are no problems whatsoever, but the dvd drive will not open when I hit the eject button. Is there some way to manually open it or pry it open without hurting it in any way? Thanks.

    Nevermind, I just drilled a hole in the front of it so I could push the eject button on the actual dvd drive :D.

    Probably a samsung drive.. The belt under the tray is a stock fault on all samsung drives.

    It was actually one of the newer ones, a Hitachi. I have never heard of these until now :/
