XBOX DVD Player Upgrades?

    Does anyone know anything about upgrading the XBOX DVD player? I heard the factory DVD player is 2X and not progressive scan. So, that means I have 2 questions:

    1. can a faster DVD drive work in an XBOX?
    2. is there a progressive scan DVD drive I can put in my XBOX?

    After softmodding and popping in a 200GB hard drive, I'm hungry for more :)
