XBOX DVD rom drive

is there anywhere i can buy a pre-flashed dvd rom drive to just swap straight into the xbox.

really need your help guys cheers

 

I would like to know this too as my crappy Philips has seemed to die.

 

I think i may need this info too my friends xbox isin perfect working order but he needs a new one.

Thats a crappy Philips. Try to get a Samsung if any.

 

All the sites i have been to only have phillips. one had samsung for like 500 bucks...I THINK NOT!! even the money inclined in this forum shouldnt pay that much lmao

$80 for a secondhand drive???

Seriosly, buy a broken console off ebay that isn't having drive errors, steal the drive, keep the rest of the unit as spares and pocket the $50 you saved!

I made a lot of money a while back buying broken Xboxs off eBay, fixing them and selling them back on eBay the same day! That's how I know so much about Xbox.

The only thing that I can't fix\don't understand is Xmas Lights...

Most Xbox problems on eBay are caused by bad lasers in the DVD drive or corrupt MS-Dash, both are easy fixes!

I can't understand why people buy parts for the Xbox at ridiculous prices, I mean $60 for a power supply? Most power supplys can be fixed with a 30c fuse...
