I have a 500gb hd in my classic xbox and have copied games to the f drive to play them (120gb partition) I have tryed to put some on drive G but they will not play . used dvdtohd and hdd loader ,works for F but not G even ftp from f to pc then G not working . G has movies on it that play well but not the games. anyone got any ideas?
yeah.. simple.. IF you had read the old guides.. you would have found that only movies/music will play off G and that you can easily have a 300+ gig F partition with any modern bios or softmod. set it up again this time letting the installer put everything after the standard C+E on F .. problem solved.

Here's the issue, Most xbox dashboards and loaders have a config file, it's where the program looks for the default.xbe file or whatever file extension it's programmed to look for. The issue is that his config file is only pointing to E:/games and F:/games and not G:/games. It might be as simple as enabling G: on your dash or adding the path to the config file. Please don't spread bad information ps3555, it doesn't help anybody.
