Hey, i have had a modded xbox for ages but only recently started to use it for stuff other than playing copied games. I have managed to suss out FTP and emulators and stuff now after a good few days, but my problem arised when i downloaded a game and wanted to store it onto my xbox hd rather than burning it to a disk and playing it that way. I know i have an 80gb hard drive in there so tried to FTP it to that. However, i wasnt allowed. I am using Evo X and looking on the system settings, it says I have C, D, E, F, G, X, Y, Z. When using flash FXP, it says my F and G drive both have space on but looking on the system settings, it says that there space is 0.

FlashFXP says this about the drives:
[R] 150 Opening ASCII data connection for ls /F/.
[R] 226 free disk space under this directory : 748.059.789.208

[R] 150 Opening ASCII data connection for ls /G/.
[R] 226 free disk space under this directory : 748.059.789.208

I cannot however put stuff on to these drives as they fail and my evo x system settings say that there is 0 space on them. Any ideas?

Ive got XBpartitioner now on my E drive but have no idea how to use it to partition my F drive. It is still showing no space on it. I have formatted the F drive and still nothing. Any chance it has died on me?

if you can boot up your xbox and have c and e drives then you have a working hard drive (all drives are part of the same one)

Ahh thank you. Any ideas to why i can't access my F drive then at all and why it shows up as having no space other than when in FlashFXP but won't let me ftp to it?

dont get the update, just the normal one and let nero decide how to burn the disc (use a dvd-r at 4 speed for best results)

i think its located in "tools" and it will have a list of drives to format
    eg
    format c:
    format e:
    format f:
    format g:

and some other stuff, just select the F: and let it do it's thing :D

Right, put AID 3 into my xbox, tried to format F drive, it did it all super quick. This changed nothing. I then went to prepare it. It came up with error 3 and nothing else happened. Now im stumped.

no, just use xboxhdm to rebuild it, you will need a back up of your c and e drives though, oh and maybe get someone else to check it out too

Well ive got AID and Slayer and none of them will boot up from disc before it gets to the customer service screen. It keeps displaying error messages of 13, 14 or 20 but mostly 14. I cannot connect to it via FTP either.
