ok here is the problem i used softmod installer deluxe v3.1 Final and i used the knkernal and installed evox that all worked fine and dandy but then i accedently unlocked my hard drive and now i get the error 5 screen as soon as i boot up. and i can not play any games or anything is there ANY way i can Lock my Xbox again PLZ any help would be appreciated
i have a friend that did the exact same thing .... he dropped off his xbox at my place & for the life of me i couldnt figure it out either .... now on one of my xbox's it doesnt read any games , so now im afraid to do anything to the other one 9 anyone know what i can do ) ? ....
the smart thing would of been start your own thread rather then hijacking this one, but again the same answer DID YOU BACKUP THE EEPROM FROM THE MOTHERBOARD THAT YOU WANT TO INSTALL THE UNLOCKED DRIVE INTO ??? if you did, you simply use that EEPROM and lock the drive with XBOXHDM. or just get a chip. kc
