xbox hard drives

    Is it possible to put two hardrives in the xbox cause im like totally out of space i dont really want to rig up a switch never tried it,but any info would be really awsome

    you would have to have some sort of switch to go from 1 HDD to the other. They actully make taller Xbox tops to add more hard drives. Xbox extender and it lets you put up to 3 HDD in it but you switch from 1 to the other with a switch.

    basicly buying an IDE cable with an extra device (or making one) and then adding a switch to the 5v and 12v powers would do. You want both powers to be turned off on the unused drive to keep the heat down....no need to have a drive spinning if you aren't gunna use it.
