xbox hdd and xbmc

i have xbmc and im almost out of space on the standard xbox hdd and i need an easy way to put a bigger one in but they all seem too complicated is there just an easy one that doesnt seem to require to much to do thx

 

Just buy a 200GB HDD, put it in your system, and get to the BIOS screen. When there look for an option to re-format HDD, choose that option, and the system will re-format the HDD, and you are done.

 

how do i do that?? i didnt mod my xbox i had a friend do it and i just want a bigger hdd

 

Well, before listening to DavGerm4, did you buy a chip, or is it softmodded? If it's soft modded, absolutely DO NOT listen to DavGerm4.

If it is softmodded, run a search for the word XBoxHDM on here and/or in google, there are a number of tutorials and links to help you.

If you have an ACTUAL modchip, then you can just swap out for another IDE hard drive.

 

Thanks handsom! Ya, if it's softmodded DO NOT listen to me. Just cause, my info I gave is for Hard Modding, and I just don't know crap about the Softmod stuff.
