Okay, so I had my Xbox Modded with the Xecuter 3 CE, and I actually added a 200GB Maxtor HDD to it! It worked really well for about a year, but the Xbox finally died on me! I have a bunch of media that I would FTP from my PC to the Xbox (because the PC didn't have much free space), and I want to know if it's possible to backup all that media, before I re-format the Drive, so that I can use it in a PC!

Now, I want to know if there is a way (without using an Xbox, because mine is gone) so that I can save most of this!

    Thanks!

If you were smart enough to save the eeprom somewhere, you can unlock the HDD with XboxHDM, then use 360Xplorer to salvage your stuff!

You can use an eeprom reader and supply power to it!

    What happened your Xbox?

    Can't we just fix that?

I've tried fixing it already, and I've had no luck! I'm getting rid of it, because I don't use it anymore! But, I just want to save the stuff on the HDD!

So I saw the tut on how to make the eeprom reader, but that uses connecting it to the Xbox! Sorry if my questions before were hard to understand! Is there a way "without" using the Xbox? Can I just do it with a PC?

Nope! You need to salvage the eeprom.bin file to unlock the drive!
