xbox hdd to usb

    I have a external xbox hdd that the case was smashed on. I took the Hdd drive out and wnted to use it on usb to connect to my computer. I then had a problem of ... windows sees the mass storage device but will not allow me to access is. I have seen the other threds on here but... i cannot do that because this hdd is usb2 so will not boot

    where can i get carpet magic from to unlock the hdd
