its really simple man, First I need to know some info, A. Do you have your eeprom and HDKEY? B. Do you have a copy of your "ORIGINAL" C: and E: folders? If you dont have your eeprom then follow this: 1. MAKE sure that you have a backup of your C:/ MS folder. Get XBOXHDM create the ISO with your MS folder read the docs (dont worry about the eeprom.bin) 2. after you have created the boot disk, disconnect your PC's hard drive and have the cable close enough to the xbox in order to hot swap. 3.Boot the ISO, but before linux recognizes your system mainly any hard drives (if you see hda hdc any of that reboot) hit the pause/break key to pause the boot process. 4. Go over to your xbox turn it on while the cover is off. Just before the flubber thing ends and the ms logo pops up disconnect the ide cable from the back of the xbox hard drive. 5. Connect your PC's IDE cable to the xbox hard drive while the xbox is still on. Then hit the space bar on the PC and continue booting. This method will allow XBOXHDM access to the locked hard drive without having to go through all that eeprom.bin and hd password shit. 6. AS of now you should only have your xbox hard drive the only hard drive connected to your PC. type xboxhd at the prompt and then READ choose option 2 to rebuild C: partition. 7. After all is well disconnect the PC's IDE cable from the hard drive before you turn the PC off. Likewise with the xbox make sure that you reconnect the IDE cable inside the xbox back to the xbox drive before you shut it down. This method can get u back to a state were you can start all over again with the softmod.
