If you back up games like I only backed up Halo 2 will i get banned off xbox live for having a clean non modded Halo 2 backup and I used the CD to start. Nothing modded just a backed up Halo 2 game on the xbox HDD.

Depends on what mod you are running. Don't run any modded anything on live. Your C:\ files need to be completely stock and any chip needs to be completely disabled... Have you changed your HDD since you made your account?

Why I was asking about your hdd is MS have a record on your account of your eeprom and hdd serial number. It's uncertain if they can tell if you have modded files on your E:\ partition. If it's all on F:\ then that's certainly safe unless you forget and log in with modded software.
