Hi! My Son has basically stuffed the xbox by some how loading xbox live unintentionally. Can someone direct me to what is required to restore this dashboard and exactly how; I've read some articles but they are not rea lly straight forward; I'd like someone that already has an xISO that I can burn directly, boot, ftp, and I believe I have to rename a dashboard file, somewhere. Thanks.
I'm unable to FTP; an IP address is assigned to the xbox and my son can play physical media games (CD's) but I'm unable to ping or FTP to the xbox? I've read some threads but I'm mixed in the steps required to make a boot CD to rename the dashboard; I might be totally off in that renaming the dashboard xbe file but that is what I've read so far, am I correct or totally off? What programs and steps do I need to take to fix this issue?
