xbox live question

    is there a way i can unban myself from halo 2 matchmaking. my friend went on xbl with my chipped xbox when i lent it to him. but i got a 360 and i wanna play matchmaking

    no way once ur banned thats it for ur matchmaking days....u gatta buy a new account

    Did some digging.

    From what I understand, he migrated his XBL account to his 360 and wasn't banned from anything. Apparently, someone told him that if he migrated his XBL account to his 360 that he would be banned from every game since he was banned from Halo 2 matchmaking.

    So, I'm not sure if he was able to play matchmaking again or if he was just saying that he wasn't banned from every other game.

    Since you already have a 360, you might as well just try it and see what happens. Worst thing that could happen is that you still can't play matchmaking.
