ok first off im not going to cheat on live. i cant even figure out how to do the rest of the crap you need to do for modding the maps. i just want to get back on live and play. but i dont know how to do it and i dont know what to do. i have the evox dashboard. if you can help please let me know. thank you.
Once you install your dashboard, it's kind of stuck on there. Sure, on some dashboards, you can get the option to reboot on the MS one, but you still wont be able to get on Live half the time. I think you can get the original dashboard files from somebody, burn them to a CD, pop it in, and reinstall the original un-modded dash. Here is my advice: Only install modded dashboards to your harddrive if you never intend to use XBL again. If you want to mod stuff and still be able to play on live, You can just put in the game disc (007, Mechassault, SC ect.) and just run your modded dash (evox, xunleashed) off the disc. You can still ftp and everything. Just don install the dash to your harddrive. You will be fine that way.
Ok...well this is a bit complicating. I'm not going to say Medwyno is wrong...but he is to an extent. You can get on live w/ a softmod. I've done it for many Xbox's that I've softmodded as well as helping people out over the internet via AIM or my website. I have a tutorial if you'd like to try it on how to get on live w/ your softmod still installed. I've gotten it to work myself...but on an xbox I've recently modded w/ AID 2.11 Final...I failed...but I only tried once to get it on. So, if you want to try the tutorial out, go to www.se7ensins.com and go down to the softmod section and it will be one of the tutorials at the top that are pinned. Good luck, Azzid
hey azzid i went to the web site you gave but when i click on the links to the tuts it keeps going to a page where it says "this page can not be displayed" i wanna check them out they seem pretty cool but that crap keeps comin up. thanks for your time.
You might have to register...Lemme look into it and I'll see if it can be made so people who arent registered can view the forums. But I'm pretty sure you need to register.
Why bother even playing on lIVE? Get XBC or XKAI. It's much better and theres not a lot of playlist bullsh*t. You can find exactly what u want and play. Besides now that they took away leaderboards, bragging about wins is all hearsay. I onced swore by Live, but then I figured....why pay the monthly cost for H2. I mean if I was a total game junkie and played every game that supports Live, I guess it would make sense, but I play only a couple times a month. Not worth the money!
