I had put a copy of a movie with subtitles on my xbox and watch through XBMC and it played the subtitles fine. When I went to watch it a second time, it played it without subtitles and I can't figure out how to turn them back on! Any suggs.?

It all depends on what release of XBMC you have. Different releases have different button maps. Sometimes you can press the start button while the movie is playing and get a menu in the bottom left that might have options. On older versions the start button goes through screen sizes. Best thing to do is make sure that the subtitles are either in the folder names subtitles,(make sure that the path is corect in the xml file) or you can just put the subtitles file in the same folder as the movie itself.

There are so many versions and scene releases that it's hard to keep up with all the updated versions. You could also try going to the XBMC homepage and check out if they have a manual or something.

Actually, I had erased the .srt and .nfo files because I didn't think they needed to be there. I didn't know what they did. I now know. Thanks for the reply!
