xbox not booting or cdrom not ejecting

    My Xbox just stopped working. It won't boot and I cannot get the cdrom to eject. If I unplug for a few days, sometimes it will bootup once or eject the cd tray once but won't do it again untill I let it "rest."

    NOTE: This box has NOT been modified in anyway so I am wondering what has happened.

    the rome in the x-box need to be reloaded.

    if your using the matrix chip, its most likely an alignment issue. The chip moves out of place once in a while

    I am not using the matrix chip. Also, If I were to reinstall the ROM, how do I do this?

    besides popping in a CD to play a game, I don't do much with the machine.

    if you havent mod your xbox, does that mean you didnt take it apart? If so your warranty might still be there, so just take it to microsoft to fix it
