ok i have a softmoded xbox (evox) its great but one thing is now anoying when i turn it on my big tv down stairs it comes up as 4:3 so i have to keep pressing on my tv control 16:9 so then its full screen is there any way i can change it to 16:9 ?
Go into programs, and select MS Dash, it has settings, to select 16:9, which will give you a proper 16:9 image. From the second you turn on your xbox, to the second your dash comes back up with the correct ratio will be about 50-90 seconds. If you keep switching, you unfortunately will have to do this each time, but it works. There is, unfortunately, no way to make the system automatically just detect the correct ratio on it's own though. I have my own irritation like that, because I've got a nice 16:9, but none of my friends do, so I always have to adjust at friend's homes.
