Xbox to Xbox File Transfer?

    My dad just got a new Xbox and I'm softmodding it tomorrow.
    Mine is already softmodded and set up with a load of films. Can I do a direct Xbox to xbox file transfer?
    Either Xbox to Xbox direct with a crossover cable
    or
    Via a router?

    Any software or anything to do it?(PC or Xbox software).

    since you need a ftp client, I don't think you can. I haven't seen a program that runs a ftp on the console (although there might be, you might just have to google it or go to the place that has a lot of programs for the xbox, most people refer to it as the usual places). I think a computer needs to be involved for file transfer.

    Yes there is an app to put on the xbox just go look in the usual places i think is was called xbox2xbox
