xbox version?

    simple question. what do i look for to determine what version xbox i have?

    did u even search the forum for the answer?!!!!!
    you can check on xbox-scene, but anyway... you can very ROUGHLY tell by what dvd drive u have (thompson, philips, samsung) and also by the mobo layout, plus if the holes are filled with solder already
