i have an executor-chipped xbox. but when i want to load up a game i get the following message on my tv screen:

"Oops, something is wrong, error code 7"..

and it tells me that the specific number code could be related to a HDD error. the thing is i haven't messed w/ my HDD at all. does this sound familiar to y'all? any solutions? i even tried the disc cleaner but that didn't help. thanx.

chipped boxes can run unlocked hard drives

Are you trying to boot from dvd or hard drive?

Also, if the hard drive is unlocked, do you have the chip turned on?

Go to the website you purchased the chip from and look for directions. About all I can say, let me know.
