My Xbox won't read DVD Movies. I have the adaptor, and it was reading movies fine until I modded my Xbox. Now it won't read them. I can get them to read a backup copy of a game, but not a movie. I need some help.

    Thanks!

EDIT: I just un-installed the softmod. Now it works perfect. Thanks though.

did you have a program called DVD RegionX on your Xbox. That is what i use, It is a region free DVD player for Xbox. When you stick in a DVD it automatically pops up and plays it.

No, I don't have that, I'll have to get that. Do I just FTP it? And if I do, any specific folder?

    Thanks!!

It is free, most auto installer discs like AID or Slayer will have it, most likely so will Xbins. Mine came off of Slayer 2.6 (the older version) And you would FTP it to your apps folder where all your other working programs are. Or just let the auto installer install everything for you.

as you can see by this AID 3.0 manual there are two versions of DVD X on the disc.
