I dont know about xbox's cos i dont want one i want a ps3. But what i am interested to know is has xbox lived up to the hype? Has the Ps3 met its match here or not. Example being bugs, crap games, hardware problems, crap sales or that lark. Even tho im buying a PS3 i wanna feel ive got a better console

It depends on who you ask.Obviously coming into the ps3 forum your going to receive a welcome when wanting ps3.I don't think 360 has added up to it's hype.Just not many games in my opinion and this is from a person with a 360.

i think most people who own the 360 will have good things to say. in the beginning the 360 was rushed. early on the 360 and a few of its games were pretty buggy and online play for said games were subpar, but those things have been dealt with. many will argue the buggy consoles were to be expected as is the case with any console launch. the only real downside for the 360 so far is the lack of an exclussive title(IMO). they do have some very nice looking titles coming up, but having been released for some 8 months or so there hasnt been a killer title to really show off or boost sales. most games just like on the original xbox are available for the pc, so for those who have a decent computer setup, why pay $10 more for the same game???

i dont think its fair to really say the ps3 has met its match considering its not even out yet. this thread may be just a bit too premature (no offense), and both systems do have promising future titles.

TGS (toyko game show) is scheduled for late september. i think its fair to expect a nice showing for the ps3, which may just be all the reassurance you need.
