Xbox360 wount play back ups after flashing firmware. Help!

    i recently flashed my xbox360 with ixtreme 1.4. the flash went smooth. when i went to incert a backup game into the drive it loaded in up with a screen that said : Insert Disc Into the xbox360 console. is this due to a bad flash or is the game not patched properly?
