Im having a problem... first off i had FINALLY got the cd to load xboxhdm. i followed directions and everything and and locked the harddrive but i put it in the xbox and i got some error code... dont remember if it was 5, 6, or 7. I don't remeember... its been a few days. the stock harddrive still works so it wasnt that serious but I do want the new drive in so i can save more than 1 game on it. but anyways not I put the new harddrive back in the pc and unlocked it and it said "DONE!" and when i go to disable the security (keeps it from relocking after reboot) it says "device not ready". any way to fix this or is my harddrive useless now??
This may be a silly question, but is the box modded and you have chip set correctly, and what brand/model hard drive are you trying to use? Error 5 is HDD not locked and usually happens when trying to install another HD in a box that is not modded or if modded, chip not set up correctly.
