xDVD-How to Make a DVD with this format?

    am having trouble with creating an xdvd. I have about 8 hours that I need to compress to one or even 2 dvds.can u guys help me out?I output my regular mpeg2 files to xdvd format but they still WONT BURN CORRECTLY.I AM USING DVD AUTHOR 1.6 trial.Am I doing something wrong?a missing step?can someone walk me through the creation of one or give me a resource to look at?

    Goto kvcd.net u can get 6 hours of dvd quality video on 1 dvd 4.7 gig
