    Hya.

I ve got some probs with it.

I installed it and had to make grey wire longer in order to solder it at the back of mobo.

So now when I turn it on with chip active (blue led on) cromwell comes up and tray opens. but i couldnt flash it with cd.

When chip is disabled and 4th switch is on (flash protection) there is no frag.

What do you think is the problem? Is it D0?

    Thanks in advance.

Do you get FRAG when your chip is disabled and 4th switch is on?

    FRAG is a continous (F)lashing of (R)ed (A)nd (G)ren.
After installing you chip (Xecuter 2.2 Pro) disable it (No blue led) and put 4th switch to on. Now turn you xbox. and it should flash red and green.
And when you activate chip (blu LED is on). Now if you turn on xbox, Cromwell will come up and dvd tray open.

    Yes!
Actually what happened for me is I installed the Chip turned on the machine mod disabled and it worked fine, turned the machine with the mod enabled it came up cromwell and wanted the cd.

I put in the cd but it would not work so we decided to try the PC method, hooked up, all was good, tried to flash with x2bm v2.0 beta 7, it erased the bios and froze up 13% writing with several differnet bios. So I tried different x2bm versions, v1.1 froze up as well, v1.0 erased, wrote but failed verification.

now when it is hooked up to try to power up with the mod enabled it tries to boot 3 times all 3 times the mod light comes on and goes off then the power led on the xbox flashes red and green and does not boot.

Why dont you try to flash just one bank of bios (not al of them).
    Maybe this will help?

See, when I try to flash it it goes fine while writing, and at the end it says cannot verify.
    What can I do?
