I bought an xbox 2.3 light plus. From what I can tell it seems to be installed correctly. When the external switch is turned to disabled, my xbox works normally. When turned to dizabled, it cycles on/off three times, the eject button cycles green/red. There is nothing on the Television display while all this is happening. I tried to eject it to see if it would take a BIOS flash CD. It will not eject. There is no other sign that this xbox was installed. When I first put the chip in, I get a green light (this is supposed to be a good thing). Now when I attach the rest of the components, I get a blue light. Please help me. By the way the unit is a 1.1 with the samsung drive.
If you guys know anything about this chip, please tell me. I just ordered it, it has 3 parts, the chip, the part that connects to the chip that says "enable/disable" "protect/un-protect" and "bank 1/ bank 2" First question is what should these be set to, and 2nd question is where can I get a manual to install this or can someone tell me? I am assuming my xbox is a 1.5 cuz I bought it a week ago. Please help if you know. Thanks.
