I just bought a Xectuer 2.3 lite plus from divineo, and when i was installing it on my xbox they two BLUE led light would not light up(even though it was set up correctly in the d0 point, and i tried to like ten times and it wouldnt work). So i though that probably the LED where messed up, So i connected the swicth and turned it to enable and turned on my xbox and then it would turn off by itself untill like the second time the eject button started to flash red and green, so i decied to put the switch to disable and restart the xbox and then i would see the green LED light up for about a second and then turn off, and the M$ dashboard would run. I think i should at least recieved the Cromwell screen on since i have a Conexant.

Please tell me what to do should i return my MODCHIP or could someone help me fix the problem

sounds like a bad alignment with the lpc ports or the d0 point, retry

I just installed my 2.3 lite plus on my 1.0 Thompson DVD Xbox. This was my first ever install.

First off I used a contact cleaner pen (purchased from radioshack) and ran it over the d0 point AND the other contact points. I honestly think this step is very important.

But I was getting the green LED.. but no blue LED's.

The problem was because I didn't have the USB adapter connected to power it up! LOL! So in order to get the blue LED's (blue leds = power to the mod chip) you MUST have the USB adapter installed.

Just the net for how to install the usb adapter, its pretty simple. I hope this solves your problem

My 2.3 did not come with any instruction (same XBOX 1.0). How do you connect to the USB for power?

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Thanks,

I finally got it by swapping it with the USB port on the Motherboard (XBOX 1.4), then on an XBOX 1.0, I jumped it off the small PCB that connects to the Motherboard.

So what I found is that if you align the pins with the holes (have the black and red cables attached already). Then run the black to the on off switch, then small red to the USB power unit. You will hook the black connection (6 pin) to the closest USB power slot (white pin, multi colored wires near the front of the case) unplug this from the xbox, then connect the mod. Then place the USB connector into the white portion of the mod chip.

    Hope this helps someone!

    Mike
