Hello all my xbox modder friends. I come to you once again for a bit of your awesome knowledge. I recently purchased the xecuter 3ce solderless install chip to install in my unmodded xbox. I learned upon its arrival that I had to desolder the LPC port as it is a 1.0 version. No big deal in that area as I have done a little soldering/desoldering before. I installed the xapter solderless adapter and got the three blue lights needed. I then put on the chip istalled all the wires for the power switch and the external. I powered up the xbox and got the appropriate screen for flashing. I have chosen the http method of flashing and have a good link through DHCP. I got the DHCP ip and was able to bring up the flash bios web page using my given ip. I also have been to xbins and went to the xbox folder went into the bios folder then the xecuter and the the xecuter 3. In this folder I see the folder named old and the FlashX3.rar and X3_3294.rar as well as x3_bios_works_onx3_chip_ONLY. Now I downloaded all of these files and probably don't need them all, however at this point I wanted to ensure I have all the ammo to take on this fight. I need help in knowing which file I need and how to properly get it onto my xbox so that I can use the AID disc. Thanks....

well what you wanna do is flash the 3294 Bios to the 1mb bank on your xbox..and you should be ready to go after that...just put the AID disc in a it will boot no problem.....here is a link to check the bios banks is at the bottom, also what i would do is turn the flash protection on the chip off on and use the external switch to turn flash protection on/off
    here is that link

Thanks theridges for that info. Just one more question. Do I unpack the 3294 bios or should I send it over packed. I assume that I should unpack it, but if this is the case is there any certain files inside I need or all of them or what. Thanks....

Thanks again theridges... I found the proper file, renamed it appropriately and flashed it without a hitch. I'm glad to be able to use all of my hard drive with this new bios as my old xbox with an unknown chip dosen't support above the 137 gig or whatever the max out is. Anyhow I do appreciate the knowledge. Do you know about FTPing between two xbox systems. I did it in Korea with my old xbox and my roomates, but now when I choose connect I get a square screen with what looks like a keypad of sorts inside and a prompt to input info. such as the ip and passwords, ports and usernames. I can't seem however to select anything except for dots and dashes and so forth, but no numbers. As stated I used to transfer files on my old system but since having to re-install the AID disc I get this same prompt on the old on now too. I have static selected and have the address exact except the last digit. I am also using the same cable as in Korea. Just thought you may know the deal.

well you will need a cross-over cable to connect 2 xbox directly, you should just have to put the other ip in along with the password which is probably xbox and username which is also xbox.....

Cool, I got it working finally. Sometimes it allows me to pull the right trigger and sometimes it dosen't. I guess it's touchy as it also wants me to hold the trigger for a couple of seconds when it allows me to choose the numbers. Wierd as it allows me to select everything else even the letters every time. Maybe a faulty couple of controllers. Anyway thanks for the info.
