hello. I have made a few xbox backups (xISO's). they all work in the xbox w. no problems. however when i stick the discs in my pc dvd drive the pc only reads as blank discs. i wanna take my evox disc(which is in xiso format) and copy it to disc. I know i could just stick the disc in the box and ftp it to my pc. but the disc is a little scratched and takes forever to ftp. My question is . does a program exist that allows ur pc to read xiso. I have c-tools, quix, and craxton,. any help would be appreciated. thank u
PC's can't read Xbox ISO disc's. Best bet is to zip them up, or save the .rar file they came in along with all the .r## files that came with it.
Sadly to say no, there are no programs that allow your PC drives to read Xbox games. You can mod a few PC drives to be able to read Xbox games, check out this guide here: http://webpages.charter.net/modchipzone/pccddvdrom.htm
some backups can be read by alcohol 120% eg put disk in and select 'make image' http://img296.echo.cx/img296/632/10qn.jpg select where you wanna put it,and a name http://img296.echo.cx/img296/408/20nq1.jpg Give 'er http://img296.echo.cx/img296/1183/37kk.jpg Then just burn to a blank disk with alcohol 120% and you [bold]should[/bold] be good to go. This doesn't work with all backups though....and cannot be done with an original.
