Hey guys, my computer is locking up all of a sudden. After a few minutes of inactivity, it just takes me to the login screen and asks me to fill a password. I don't even have a password set up, so pressing Enter just takes me back to what I was doing. Why is it doing it all of a sudden? And more importantly, how do I disable it? Thanks
Check you user account settings. Go to Control Panel>User Accounts. Check your settings to make sure nothings out of ordinary. Also, check your power option. Sometimes a comuter will go into standby after inactivity and require password resume. Right click desktop and go to properties to check that! Hope this helps!
Yeah, the power options is what i would also suggest, might as well check the display options while your in there. But more likely it is the hibernate or energy saving mode.
