Hi, was wondering if anyone could help, I recently had to format my hard disk and then reinstall XP (using an old xp disk without SP2). Now Windows Update Freezes every time i try to use it so I can't get all the security updates I need. I've ordered the xp home sp2 disk from microsoft but it may take 4 weeks to arrive which is longer than I would like to wait. Any Ideas anyone? Any Help is greatly appreciated.
if you have a high speed internet connection, just download Windows Sp2 for I.T Professionals and Pros from the Microsoft Website. its about 227mb. it works for me.
