XVID+AC3 playback problems WinXP

    Religiously followed Afterdawn's guide on DVD to XVid+AC3 conversion.

    After installing the Audiofilters package from doom9 I can hear the resulting AVI but instead of 5+1 the sound only comes from R,L, Rear R, Rear L and sub channel (the central channel is muted).

    This happens both with BSPlayer and WMP.

    The AC3 I am multiplexing into the AVI (with VirtualDubMPEG) sound perfectly 5+1 when played by itself with Creative Playcenter.

    HW is Creative Audigy+ Inspire; OS is XP Pro

    Please please please please ... can anyone help me ?
