Hello I recently just started using the new XviD Codec v1.0 RC 3 (Koepi's 20040229). I have been using the XviD with AC3 surround sound guide in the guide section. Obviously the interface when configuring XVID is much different then before I have been using the XviD-1.0-RC2-07022004 version. I used the default settings. I ran a test on a movie using both codecs. The video rendering rate went from an average of 27 down to 15 using the new codec. Also average time to finish the 1st pass went up an extra 1hr. My machine is a Pentium 4 3.0ghz, Kingson 512MB. Any insight or a new guide would be helpful. Or should I just drop it. Thx skar913
