Have been trying to play a no. of divx, xvid files. However the same problem occurs everytime i play the files. The picture keeps on freezing, sound continues and eventaully both are out of sync. This keeps on happening - freezing and sync problems, though only for a second they may be ok. Have used every way to play the files - kazaa lite mega codec pack, vlc player etc. Gspot says the compatible codecs are installed but the freeze and sync problem continues. What is the best combination of files to have on the system to resolve the freeze/sync/incompatible codecs problem.
1. Uninstall all codecs (like that mega codec pack) and then install FFDShow + AC3 audio codecs. 2. If that did not do the job, try AVI Defreezer.
