XVID-Dmt files

    I have downloaded a film which is approx 1.38Gb in size. It has a folder which has an AVI of the film, which is half the size of the contents of the entire folder and 48 (14.3Mb) files called dmt-mtf files, what are these then?
    As you may have guessed, I'm a newbie at this burning films stuff.
    Do the dmt files make up the film when converted but to a better quality than the avi?

    The other files would be rar files, probably containing the same avi. That is unless it is a 2CD release.
