I'm confused, I download a Xvid file and it says 700 mb before and even after I get it through the properties window of Xp. I go to burn and Nero see's like 1.4 Gb. So then in turn I have to split with Vdub and do full processing audio (seems when u spit with vdub w/out full proc. audio checked sync errors happen) so my file ends up being 3 disc, but of good qualtiy. Is this normal? Scott
errrm... no... not exactly... heck... not at all! 1. Try opening the file with Gspot, does it still say 700MB? 2. 1.4GB, divided evenly thats 716MB.... i'm sure you can overburn that (just burn VERY SLOWLY) -- that will save you one disc at least.
ermm, dont tell me you are making a vcd with nero and wondering why the file size is bigger? please dont say that! lol
Good point Dela, scottand you should be burning DATA-CDs not (Super)Video CDs that is unless you specifically want to be able to watch it in a standalone DVD player at which point you should read up on one of these: Simple Steps for Encoding http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/43085
