XVID help please

    I downloaded an AVI file in XVID format and followed and followed this guide to a T (http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd_page_5.cfm)...but when I burnt it it had no audio....dont understand where I went wrong....I Demuxed the audio but i couldnt add it in TMPGEnc as it said that ac3 audio wasnt supported so i left it with just the video file and encoded it. What am I doing wrong?
