hey, i downloaed a couple of movies (to make backup copies of corse) and they come split up into to avi files... so i downloaded virtualdub and i join them. Once i have them joined as 1 avi file i open up tmpgenc and it will let me choose the video file but not the audio file. i get an error... i have the enviornmental setting changed... and when i try to export a wav from virtual dub, it saves the file, but there is no sound... has any1 encountered this problem, and is there any way to fix it... p.s. - i also have ffdshow installed please help!!!!!!!!!!
audio format ? ac3 ? try virtualdubmod and demux. figure out the audio format. use appropiate audio converter. lastly, backup copies means you rip the dvd you bought to be use in the future if anything happens to the original. try dvd back up guide.
