A friend gave me a movie download file well 3 actually... they all are Xvid and i have tried to play them with vlc player, windows media player, nero, gom player and divx player... Each time i have just got distorted colour for 5 secs... Each file is around 700mb which is a pretty normal download movie file... I have never had a poblem before with movies he has given me and he can't get these to work either... Please let me know anything that will get these going... Tanx
Sounds like the files are corrupted/damaged is he sure the download completed succesfully, are they compressed and need to be unpacked ?
