as subject, ive got a xvid DVD rip which plays fine, good quality etc until it comes to the sound! it's non existant! complete pain in the arse.. have tried to read up abt it but cant find a solution... if anyone has any ideas what-so-ever pls pls share them with me! thanks guys
Well assuming that you are simply missing a decoder for whatever audio it uses, then you just need to detect what it is using say MediaInfo, then installl a decoder. If it is an avi then there is a pretty good chance that it uses AC3. So ffdshow or AC3Filter.
