Hi, I have downloaded an Avi file recognized by AVIcodec as XVID Mpeg-4. Whenever I am trying to play it - whether wit Windows Media Player, Winamp, VLC media player or Media Player Classic (I have on my PC installed K-Lite Codec)- there appears the following message: "The content of this media file is blocked. It seems like you are not using the right media player to play this file! You should visit http:divxmovienow.com to get the recommended Media Player!" When I have entered in the above mentioned link I saw there a recommendation to get a certain "Universal media player", I never heared of, which is, how else, downloadable against payment only (no trial period). I have tried to owercome the problem by converting the said file to some other formats, however it didn't help. Please, help me to solve the said problem. Thanks in advance stibi
Here's the real problem. It's a trick to fool naive downloaders into installing some spyware. You should delete that file ASAP.
