I have 2 - 50 minute long videos that are AVI and HDTV. They have been encoded with Xvid. I wanted to burn them onto DVD media but for some reason Nero Express 2 isn't converting them for me. 19 hours later it's still on the first green bar. Is there another program I could use? I've got TMPGEnc but can't remember how to use that program. I assume this problem all comes down to it being HDTV since I've never run into this issue before.
It is no more HDTV than a DVDRip is a DVD. The source is HDTV, but it isn't. Basically any encoder should do. If it has AC3 audio though, I would reuse it rather than re-encode.
