Xvid shrink/compress

    I need to know a program I can use to compress Xvid files. Any suggestions?

    WinRAR will compress an AVI to approx. ~98% of its size (it is already heavily compressed).
    Most file compression software will attempt to replace repeated information with a 'shortform'. In this way, any document can be easily reduced in size...
    However, you can see why this will not work well with a Movie
    (no repeated info).
    So basically an XviD AVI is about as small as it is going to get,

    How about a program that can reduce resolution of the Xvid Avi Files? that way the file sizes are lower.
