Im trying to convert a avi to dvd ive used the following programs Xilisoft AVI MPEG Converter Super DVD Factory Avi2Dvd WinAVI Video Converter and when i play back the mpeg its always out of sync anyone know a program or a way that i can fix this ????? Thanks In Advance
Probablt that AVI has the audio stream encoded in VBR MP3 instead to be encoded in CBR MP3. You need to extract the WAV stream and, as I wrote in http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/190445 , to replace that VBR MP3 stream with a MP3 CBR stream (unless Xilisoft, as TMPGenc can, can load as 'audio input' that uncompressed WAV in place of the AVI's sound. In that case you don't need to make a new "CBR AVI" but you just have to load the AVI as 'video input' and the 'uncompressed WAV' as 'audio input'.
